Hi, I'm Kinley.
I'm a therapist who understands what it feels like to live with anxiety, overthinking, and boundary struggles — and to want something that actually changes.

I chose this work on purpose because I understand what it is like to feel stuck.
I chose this work on purpose because I understand what it is like to feel stuck in patterns that do not change.
I know what it is like to overthink everything, struggle with anxiety, and feel guilty setting boundaries. I have ADHD, and for a long time I relied on people-pleasing, second-guessing myself, and pushing through instead of responding differently.
I had to learn how to set boundaries, trust my decisions, and tolerate the discomfort that comes with doing things differently. That did not come naturally. It took intentional work.
Before opening Cowtown Therapy Center, I worked across the full spectrum of mental health care, including a state hospital, nonprofit agencies, inpatient psychiatry at Cook Children's, and outpatient settings. I have worked with children, families, veterans, and adults of all ages. That range built strong clinical skills and showed me how much the right support can change someone's life.
That experience shapes how I show up in sessions. I do not only help you understand your patterns. I help you change them in real life, even when it feels uncomfortable or unfamiliar.
You are not talking to someone who only learned this from a textbook. I understand what keeps people stuck and what helps them move forward.
I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, overthinking, and boundary struggles, especially those who are highly sensitive or neurodivergent. My clients are thoughtful, self-aware people who are ready to stop managing and start actually changing.

You might be in the right place if…
My clients are self-aware, motivated adults who are ready to stop managing and start actually changing.
You are self-aware but still feel stuck — you understand your patterns but cannot seem to change them.
You struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, or boundaries and are tired of repeating the same cycles.
You have ADHD or are highly sensitive and feel misunderstood by therapists who do not really get how your brain works.
You want a therapist who is warm but direct and will give you clear feedback — not just reflect things back at you.
You are not looking for more coping strategies. You want real change.
You are ready to invest in yourself and your growth.
When I'm Not in Session…
I'm usually with my dog Bella, drinking coffee, reading, or watching documentaries.
