Support for Aledo and Willow Park Adults Who Are Tired of Performing
A lot of people move to Aledo and Willow Park for the same reasons: room to breathe, strong schools, and a community where people still know your name. That closeness is a gift. It can also make it harder to admit when you're struggling, especially when it feels like everyone is watching how your family is doing.
Whether you're raising kids in Aledo, commuting into Fort Worth from Willow Park, or somewhere in between in Parker County, you may be the one everyone counts on. Therapy is a private place to stop performing for a while. Together, we'll look at where your patterns came from and what you want to carry forward, for yourself and for your kids.
You don't have to have it all figured out to ask for help.

Aledo and Willow Park offer a slower pace than the city, but the pressure doesn't always slow down with it. Many people in the area are dealing with:
- Parenting pressure from school, sports, and activities, and the sense that your kids' success reflects on you
- Keeping up appearances in a close-knit community where it can feel risky to let anyone see you struggle
- Breaking generational patterns while raising kids close to extended family who may still parent the old way
- Long commutes and full schedules that leave little time for yourself or your relationship
- Faith and family expectations that make putting your own needs first feel selfish
Maybe you've caught yourself thinking everyone else seems to be handling this, or I don't want my kids to grow up the way I did. Those thoughts aren't a sign that something is wrong with you. They're a sign that you're ready to do something different.
Even in a place where people know each other, it's easy to feel like no one really knows what you're carrying.
Therapy That Fits Your Life West of Fort Worth
Life out here is full. You might be shuttling kids between practices, working in Fort Worth while your family is rooted in Parker County, or adjusting to a smaller community after moving from a bigger city. Therapy is built to fit around that, not add one more thing to your list.
Private Care Outside of Your Hometown
In a smaller community, finding a therapist can come with a real concern: running into them at the grocery store, at church, or in the school pickup line. Specialized care can also be harder to find close to home.
My office is in Fort Worth's Near Southside, an easy drive east from Aledo and Willow Park, so you can get care without seeing someone in your own community. I also offer virtual therapy anywhere in Texas and Florida, so you can meet from home during nap time, after school drop-off, or from a quiet spot at work.
A Pattern-Focused Approach to Therapy
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps adults understand and change the patterns, rooted in family, relationships, and early experience, that they don't want to keep repeating. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. Together, we can work to:
This approach helps you make sense of how you became who you are, and gives you real room to choose something different.
Is This Kind of Therapy Right for You?
I work with adults in Aledo, Willow Park, and across Parker County who are ready to look at the patterns underneath what they're feeling. This is a good fit for:
Parents breaking the cycle
Moms and dads who want to raise their kids differently than they were raised and are tired of reacting in ways they promised themselves they wouldn't
The responsible one
High-functioning adults, including professionals, business owners, and caretakers who keep everyone else afloat
ADHD, anxiety, and people-pleasing
Adults who look like they have it together but feel exhausted on the inside
Questions
Aledo & Willow Park Therapy FAQs
Do you have an office in Aledo or Willow Park?
My office is at 901 W Rosedale Street, Suite 250, Fort Worth, TX 76104, in the Near Southside. It's an easy drive in from Aledo and Willow Park, and I also offer virtual therapy so you can meet from home.
Will anyone in my community know I'm in therapy?
Therapy is confidential, within the limits required by law, which I'll walk you through at our first session. Because my office is in Fort Worth and virtual sessions happen from wherever you choose, you're much less likely to run into neighbors in a waiting room.
Do you see children or teens?
No. I work with adults only. Many of the parents I work with find that doing their own work changes the way they show up for their kids.
Do you take insurance?
I'm not accepting new insurance clients. I can give you a superbill if you'd like to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance, and many clients use HSA or FSA funds for sessions. You'll find full details on my Fees & Insurance page, and you can check your out-of-network benefits there too.
Do you offer a military or veteran discount?
Yes. I offer a 10% discount on private pay sessions for active duty service members and veterans. Clients receiving the military discount aren't eligible for a superbill for insurance reimbursement. Ask about eligibility during your free connection call.
How soon can I get started?
The best first step is a free 15-minute connection call. We can talk about what you're looking for and whether we're a good fit, and I'll share my current availability.
